Celebrating 40 years in 2004!
Go to 40th Reunion Gallery to see photos of our fantastic 40th reunion celebration and find out who attended. Go to Reunion activities for information about all our reunion parties. From there you can:
- Listen to the music of Hotrod
- Relive past reunions
We are the KHS class of 1964 and, to quote one classmate, "I always knew we were somthing special!"
- We were the first members of the Postwar baby boom that followed
what was probably the last conventional war ever waged.
-
We lived our most formative years at the beginning of the atomic age.
- Ours was the first generation to wean itself on television.
- We were there for the musical revolution called
rock'n'roll, which would "only
last a few months."
- We witnessed the election of a
youthful John F. Kennedy,
only to see him murdered just months
before we were to graduate.
- We watched as John Glenn orbited the
Earth. Do you remember listening to those garbled space flights over the
PA?
- We saw people begin to demand their civil rights as human beings.
- We had Smock, that scandalous news sheet that was a little ahead of its time.
Historians are just beginning to understand the impact of that incredible
decade we call the sixties, but we lived it.
